Is retro programming more beneficial for beginners training to understand the real nature of programming? It's the command line style and a lot of unique computer art examples.
Command line style with lacking prepared user-interface templates makes the programmer dealing with the zero point of program building. It makes the programmer learn and take an idea about every part of his program because there's nothing prepared and he's the power to decide how his program will look like. It makes him being able to program various free types of programs. Command line style provide free area for the programmer.
Retro programming has a lot of unique computer art examples which can feed the experience of the learning and teach him the creativity. There are many many programming thoughts in those programs. Every programmer of those examples typed his programs with different ways which can be useful for the learner to learn various number of programming techniques of doing things by computer. Those examples are a unique source of creativity.
Although visual programming helps - by deciding some directions and templates - the programmer to apply his program, but the retro programming provides the programmer a free space with creative thoughts.
